Osmo Words Explorers: Word-Building and Spelling Adventure

Osmo Words Explorers is an exciting word-building and spelling adventure game designed to teach literacy skills to kids in grades 1-3. With this digital-only extension to the Osmo system, kids can embark on a temple adventure where they must master increasingly challenging word constructions to progress. Along the way, they'll confront monsters, battle bosses, and save real artifacts if their word skills are sharp.

The game features word recognition, spelling practice, word patterns, vocabulary building, sight words, critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and even a touch of history and social studies. Kids can explore an ancient temple, tunnel through crumbling barriers, and use their word skills to overcome obstacles and defeat monsters. Each completed level rewards them with a real Mesoamerican artifact.

Using the Osmo Words tiles, kids can get creative by replacing one letter at a time to form new words. As they spell words correctly, the blocks fall, bringing them closer to battling bosses and saving artifacts. The game progressively challenges kids as they improve their word patterns, spelling, and vocabulary skills.

In addition to the engaging gameplay, Osmo Words Explorers provides educational value by incorporating historical facts about ancient Aztec artifacts. Kids can learn about the double-headed serpent, Moctezuma's Headdress, the Stone of Tizoc, and more as they progress through the levels.
